It’s about time y'all, Diana Rodgers is finally gracing us with her knowledge and expertise. She is the co-author of "Sacred Cow" with my buddy, Robb Wolf. Her website, Sustainable Dish, is also chock full of amazing resources for her favorite sustainable products from personal hygiene to Dry Farm Wines.
In this convo we get into many of the misconceptions around red meat and nutritional value of that, even at its worst, being far superior to any other protein source. She pulls no punches in discussing where so many people have gone awry in her eyes. We dip the toes into the vegan discussion as a whole, specifically during pregnancy. At the very least please eat eggs during pregnancy. Diana strongly recommends you dip your toe back into the meat eating realm. We talked about children’s nutrition and I didn’t even know that Italy actually tried to outlaw feeding your child a vegan diet. What’s next for Diana? She’s all over the world, talking to governments, and other entities about the actual carbon footprint of livestock. Not to mention the nutrient deficit that “green” legislature is costing humans by pushing Vegan initiatives.

Hannah Frankman is new to the show and fairly new to my world, but we’re off to a fast start. She’s incredible and has such a wide, deep range of knowledge on education. She grew up outside of “the matrix”, being homeschooled, working on a local farm, pursuing higher education outside of the university system. She’s a brand building dynamo that doesn’t stop.

Today’s guest is an optimization encyclopedia. I know I use that metaphor a lot, but it’s never been truer than for Andrew. They are developing a program for the masses with the idea that no two humans are built the same. It starts with a month-long elimination diet to start the process of optimization.

I first heard today’s guest on the Terrain Theory podcast talking about Electroculture and Pyramid Energy. Jonny Wilson is another fresh face to the show. He found out as a teenager visiting his dad in Saudi Arabia that he wanted to be a Navy Seal. He accomplished that goal and thrived there. Following that stint, he discharged and was introduced to finance at the prestigious Goldman Sachs under the guise of it being like “the teams”. After losing a buddy from the service, Jonny was called back into the teams to keep contributing. Following his next exit from the teams, he was called to create a nonprofit helping fellow Seals exit their service, Seal Future Foundation. Through this foundation their team is exploring and advocating for stem-cells, alternative treatments, and plant medicines as treatment for their afflictions.

Justin Frandson is a new face to the pod, but as always I already have an amazing connection with him through our dear brother Cal Callahan. Layla Martin is like many of us, growing up in a christian household, seeking a deeper felt experience of The Divine. She was fortunate enough to travel to the Himalayan region of Asia as a teen which really opened her up to her spiritual path. As an adult she has been on the path to work through her past and gather tools to help others do the same.
She has been through the wringer as a seeker in the form of “teachers” who were wildly out of integrity. Luckily she was able to come to that realization on her own and sought out true teachers. In the wake of that shift, she has been able to pursue her enlightenment and being truly awake.
Layla jokingly said we were going to do the “fastest podcast on slow sex”. Her expertise. The whole second half of the ep is her treating us to some low hanging fruit tips and tricks to engage more deeply with our sexual practices. Listen up and go out into your world to spread the good word!
